Always Be My Maybe (2019) - Dank Master Stoned Movie Review
Netflix and chill o'clock?
Another romantic comedy, let’s see if it can pass the test of me not sleeping.
This one has Ali Wong, who you’ve probably seen strutting the stand-up stage pregnant on Netflix, well let’s see if she’s funny in a feature.
The guy is played by the Korean American that played Kin Jong Un in the Interview. Remember that thing?
Well, it get’s a bonus in the beginning for having weed, usually a good omen.
The movie is about two people that grew up as neighbors, and then fell out of touch until now.
Ali Wong’s character is now a celebrity chef and just came back home to open another restaurant.
Randall Park, whatever the character’s name is, is a musician who is basically afraid to step out of San Francisco even if it means stagnating.
Oooooweee, let’s see what happens, but don’t think too hard, it’s just a romantic comedy.
This may not be a laugh out loud type of movie that makes you pee your pants, that would be the negative side of the review.
But sometimes, you’re just not in the mood to pee your pants anyway…
It’s worth watching, and I must say the last two rom coms I have seen were much better than the 90’s crap. No way could I get into most of that-
but now we may see a new genre emerging stoner rom coms.
