Budapest (2019) - Dank Master Stoned Movie Review
Will this foreign comedy on Netflix be a Budda to my pest? Or a pest to my Budda? I will be reviewing Budapest, a movie supposedly based on some true events and named after a city in Hungary- Let's do this!
This one’s in French, but already its more entertaining than the last few things i’ve watched.
I have seen some French ‘comedies’ that bored the crap out of me, but this one looks crazy, and introduces the main characters well in the first act- MANY movies do a crappy job of introducing the characters and actually HOOKING us in. (that's why I always bail on movies like those)
Well, there are subtitles, but very interesting so far.
It’s about two guys who are pissed at their jobs and daily lives, and decide to make their own business venture running bachelor parties in Budapest…
Sounds like a good idea to me too!
They get themselves into some crazy shit, and it’s not hollywood so there’s a lot of realism to it.
Supposedly there are a lot more women than men in Budapest, and they were having a hard time getting into good clubs in France, so they’re leveling up their party game to bring groups of men on trips… what could go wrong?
Holy crap, longest hummer limo in the world, and trying to text message while tripping-
Shit hit the fan though… I wonder what will happen next, and I also wonder how true of a story this was.
There’s plenty of partying, not too much violence, a lot of funny moments and crazy situations. Of course there are plenty of conflicts though, it’s not easy putting on ragers in a foreign country.
Oh and who could forget all the tits and ass?
Plenty of tits and ass to go around in this one.
AND, best of all- I FINISHED watching the whole movie!
The last few things I have watched have been a disappointment, so watching an entire foreign movie from start to finish is a good sign, and a pre-requisite for making it on the master list of what to watch high.
